Come early 10Am or so for fellowship & BS.  Pot Luck at about 12:30-1PM. 
We have rented the north kitchen by the boat launch parking lot. 
High tide 12:06AM, 10.6' --- Low tide 7:43AM, 0.6' --- High again 3:50PM, 9.2'
This is a  good tide for boat launching during the mid day, crab season is open so bring your crab pots.

   Those of you who are planning fishing the NMTA derby there  Sept 1st, here is your opportunity to scope it out.

Hood Canal  club pre-derby Aug 11/12th.
   Gives those who can't fish the derby a chance to get a little fishing time in.  Tide is LOW on Sat. morning (-1.9' at 10:23AM) so launching probably should be no later than 7AM

   High tide 4:06AM, 10.8' --- Low tide 11:20AM, -3.1' --- High again 7:13PM, 12.0' 
   launch early (6:30 -7:30 AM) as you will not get in later, unless it is a Zodiac
Bring your boat & crab-pots, launch early before tide is anywhere close to down to  even 2'+, as the lower end of the ramp runs out at about a 0 tide & the gravel off the end is soft & a long slow grade.   Do not even think of backing with your 4 wheel drive
wheels OFF the ramp.   Looks are deceiving.  

           The other ramps on this end of the canal are not any better.
