Driving directions:
We meet at the American Legion Hall in Olympia
Washington (old Salmon Club). From the south on I-5 take exit 105 (Port of Olympia), then the
first right off the exit, follow signs for Port of Olympia, take a left at
the stoplight. From I-5 north take
exit 105 & then just off the exit, take 105B for the Port of
Olympia. At the first stoplight is where you would be if you are
coming in from the south. Go straight thru all the other stoplights. After the last stoplight you will be on East Bay
Drive. This road heads north along the bay, with the boat basin across
the narrow inlet. You will go thru Priest Point Park, the parkway ends
& East Bay Drive turns into Boston Harbor Road.
The hall is located on the left side
just past this intersection.

For members who need to be reimbursed for authorized club
expenses

for a printable form to fill out & give to our treasurer. As of February 7th 2008, the chapter held a special board meeting
specifically for the discussion & voting on whether the chapter to provide liquor at our chapter meetings. Information was forwarded
by way of e-mail to all board members, the immediate past board members &
a few other concerned members prior to this meeting. Handouts were provided
at this meeting. At this
meeting, with a quorum present & after a brief discussion, with all pros & cons presented,
a motion made, seconded, & a vote was called. The vote was unanimous, but with of 2 board members
absent. The motion read "To cease providing liquor or allowing it to be
consumed at all chapter meetings
starting immediately".
