Weigh-In locations

The only weigh-in is at Sunrise Motel & Resort     GPS location 47-24-312 123-08-146
 

For those who may not be acquainted with the Hoodsport area, Sunrise Resort is the last business as you exit the town of Hoodsport heading north on Hiway 101.  Coming in from the water, the WDFW salmon hatchery will be on the north side of town & will look like a dark concrete bulkhead from the water.  Sunrise Resort will be the next dock & facilities just north of the hatchery.  It is the last northerly set of buildings in the town of Hoodsport. 

From the water, there will a large yellow sign on the main building roof that says "HOTEL / EXPRESSO"   The photo below is Sunrise Resort, taken from the water.  The north end of the dock is usually open for derby participants to tie up to & the actual weigh-in is near the RH stairs shown in the photo.  There will be a large yellow/red letters PSA DERBY sign there.

This year, (2008) there will be a large helium filled balloon with banners flying at the weigh-in site.
