Kids Derby Section of the Hood Canal Derby

South Sound Chapter of PSA, recognizing the future of our fishing may well be in the hands of the future generation & to foster a family outing, offers a free Kids Salmon Derby ticket for this event.   This serves 2 things in that it allows parents to take their children fishing at the same derby that the parents are entered into, without costing a high price because of the requirement of each person in the boat has to have a derby ticket.  The Kids tickets are a different color than the regular tickets.

For clarification of juvenile's age, we are using the age of under 15, which coincides with the age requirement set forth by WDFW as to identifying a juvenile.

There are 3 winner fish in this kids derby.  Top prize for this kids section of our derby is $100.00 cash.   2nd & 3rd fish awards are fishing/outing related items. 

The Kids Derby section of the Northwest Salmon Derby Series, (of which this derby is affiliated with) each kid entrant will have their name entered into a drawing which will be for a 14' Stabi-Craft boat powered by Suzuki.
